Founded in 2018, Blackout Racing Stable was built on a passion for thoroughbred racing and a vision of creating a competitive stable that brings fans and supporters closer to the sport.
What began as a small racing partnership has grown into an expanding operation with horses competing at racetracks across the country. Since our founding, Blackout Racing Stable has earned over 30 wins and more than $1.7 million in purse earnings, continuing to build a reputation for developing competitive racehorses and creating exciting race day moments.
Our current stable has a diverse group of runners, including standouts such as Velvet Devil, Valala, On The Level, White Whale, By La Rina, and our new two year old, among others. Several Blackout runners have competed at high levels of competition, including graded stakes appearances and placings, showcasing the stable’s commitment to building horses capable of competing on larger stages.
At its core, Blackout Racing Stable is about more than just wins and earnings. It’s about the experience of racing — from selecting promising prospects to watching them develop into competitors on the track. Members and supporters follow the journey of each horse, sharing in the excitement of race day and celebrating the victories along the way.

Founded in 2016, Blackout began as a small group of bourbon enthusiasts coming together to select and enjoy exceptional barrels. What started as a barrel picking club quickly grew into something more, driven by a shared passion for great whiskey and a community built around it. Over time, that grassroots effort evolved into Blackout Barrel Company — a nationally distributed bourbon brand dedicated to sourcing and releasing unique, high-quality barrels.
While the brand has expanded across the country, Blackout has remained true to its roots. The company continues to offer private members-only releases, exclusive private barrel selections, and a growing lineup of bottles available through retail partners nationwide.
Today, Blackout Barrel Company blends its original club spirit with a broader mission: delivering exceptional bourbon experiences to both its loyal members and whiskey enthusiasts across the United States.
